#10: "HAPPY HOLIDAYS... AGAIN!" December 25, 2010

     We really should quit meeting like this don't you think?  ;)  That said, HAPPY HOLIDAY (again!) and Buster and I would like to wish each of you a very merry holiday with your friends and family today and over the next couple of days as we prepare for the New Year.  But until then, lets all enjoy the company of one another and reflect on the times when we laughed the hardest and revisit yester year as a family.  More often than not, our lives become so hectic and compounded with the stress of outside influences both good and bad, we often forget to reconnect with those closest to us - myself included.  Lets remember to renew those bridges and lines of communication because at the end of the day when we lay our heads down to sleep, its our family and friends (don't forget the animals too!) that are there for us when we laugh the loudest but also when we cry the hardest.  It's our family and friends that call you on your birthday and wish you well on holidays such as today.  Lets be thankful for our connections to those that make us smile and for those that we chooser to spend our time with.

     On an even better note and I'm happy to say and would yell from the rooftop of the building if I knew how to get up there and had a key, "I'M HOME!" and arrived back in Chicago a few hours ago after being back home with the family for nearly seven days.  While seeing each of them was good and as I've grown older and appreciate the times around the holidays when we're reunited, I still have to take a few breathes each night before I go to sleep because the very people I call my "family" are the very ones that drive me absolutely BONKERS!  But I love them for that.  Well, most of the time.  Right?

     HAPPY HOLIDAYS!  Be safe.  Stay hard.  Lay some pipe with me!  ;)
